Series of 9 paintings of Marine Le Pen. In the running up of the French Presidential election in 2012, Brigitte Bardot wrote a letter in support of Marine Le Pen, the leader of the National Front Party. The series of paintings of Le Pen alongside a series of paintings of Bardot, was an attempt to compare the two blondes, one representing sex appeal and the other hard right wing politics. Bardot’s official handwritten letter also ended up as an inspiration for a painting.
