Faith

Faith is a dedication to memories, very much so in plural, and in all possible phases and stages. It is about how to deal with the past that does not let you set it aside, does not leave you in peace – a rollercoaster of feelings that you really do not know what to do about and with. These paintings achieve the double take, both move and moment: they embody and they absorb. Your anxieties, desires and dreads, and your gaze, its purposeful wanderings and ambient disenchantments. Fragile and vulnerable, and full of life, full of promise, full of faith.
